This Cookies Policy explains how Surventrics ("we," "our," or "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and platform. Apart from strictly necessary cookies, we only use them where you have given us permission, and you can change or withdraw that permission at any time.

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They help websites remember your preferences and improve your browsing experience. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels.

2.3 Analytics
These help us understand how visitors interact with our website, so we can improve it. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device. Visitors are counted using a hash derived from the incoming request, which is rotated daily and then discarded, so it cannot be used to recognise you from one day to the next or across other websites.
Analytics only runs if you enable the Analytics category. The data recorded is limited to the page visited, the referring page, approximate location from your IP address (which is not itself stored), and your browser, operating system and device type.
2.4 Marketing
These would track visitors across websites in order to measure advertising. We do not currently use any. The category appears in your preferences so that if we ever introduce them, nothing runs unless you have already opted in.
2.5 Error Monitoring
We use Sentry to capture technical errors so we can diagnose and fix faults. This records the error itself and the context needed to reproduce it — it does not record your browsing session and is not used to profile or advertise to you. Because it is necessary to keep the service secure and working correctly, it operates on the basis of our legitimate interest rather than consent, and is not covered by the toggles above.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages. We use the following third-party services:
- Clerk: Authentication services
- Stripe: Payment processing
- Vercel: Hosting, and cookieless web analytics when you have enabled the Analytics category
- Sentry: Error monitoring
These third parties have their own privacy policies governing their use of cookies. We encourage you to review their policies.
4. Managing Cookies

4.4 Do Not Track
Because our analytics is cookieless and cannot follow you between websites, there is no third-party opt-out add-on to install. Turning the Analytics category off in your preferences stops collection entirely.
5. Cookies in Surveys
When respondents complete surveys created on our platform, we may use the following cookies:
- Session tracking: To prevent duplicate responses and track completion progress
- Response quality: To detect and prevent fraudulent responses
Survey creators can configure these settings in their survey options.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookies Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date.
